Notes:

  • Level Of Ease: Easy
  • Song Key: C Major - No sharps or flats
  • Standard chord progression for C major: C - Dm - Em - F - G - Am - Bdim. Most of the chords for a standard C major progression were used for this song.
  • You can play Am/G instead of Am7/G... it sounds good no matter what chord you play. I used Am7/G after seeing a solo performance of Bruno playing this song, and it was there I noticed he played this chord.
  • Am/G or Am7/G simply means that you play the Am or Am7 chord as you normally would, leading with a bass note of G which is on the 6th string on the 3rd fret using your 3rd or 4th finger depending on whether you play the Am or Am7... the Am7/G is easier to play.
  • While playing solo, Bruno also uses the barre chords as shown above on the last 2 lines of each verse. It adds interest to the progression, so that the song doesn't sound too repetitive... it works well.
  • You can also use the barre chords on the last line of the Bridge section of the song... try it out (see 'Chord Charts' Tab above for alternatives to Dm-Em-F-G).
