Notes:

  • Level Of Ease: Easier in the key of A Major- beginners may find the F#m a little hard to play at first but stick with it. If you can't play barre chords yet, this would be a great place to start. F#m is perhaps one of the easiest you will ever play... and one of the most popular.
  • The first 4 bars of Intro are repeated through most of the song.
  • The timing seems a little tricky at first but if you count during the four bars as you play them, it gets a lot easier. Consider the following:
  1234 1234 1&2 &3& 4& 1&2 &3& 4&
| F#m | D | A Asus4 A | A Asus4 A |

  • In summary |  A   Asus4   A  |:
    A for 1 ½ beats
    Asus4 for 1 ½ beats
    A for 1 beat
  • N.C. represents No Chord
  • We have included charts for all open and barre chord positions. If you choose to play the song using all barre chords, you can simply move each chord down by one fret if you prefer to play in the original key of Ab Major.
  • You will also note we have included the charts for G Major.
